Original post on the nlmixr2 project blog is here.
The nlmixr2 Working Group is expanding what open-source R tooling can support in pharmacometrics, including time-to-event modeling workflows that are important in clinical and drug-development settings.
In this technical post, Justin Wilkins and the nlmixr2 Development Team show how to fit parametric time-to-event models in nlmixr2 using the package’s custom log-likelihood interface.
The post walks through simulated two-arm trial data, compares exponential and Gompertz models, and shows how nlmixr2 can support flexible survival modeling workflows in R.
